Senior Athletic Meet: Hainault Public School

Junior Athletic Meet, HPSSports Days is a special day for all, not because you win medals but more so for the spirit of the game and being the best sportsperson and today the Junior Section of Hainault Public School proved the same. As once Dan Gable — a retired American amateur wrestler and head coach — said, “Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts”, holds quite true as that was what we witnessed today. Also age was not a deterring factor but the thrill and excitement of participation was the scene for the day.

Children Showcase Immense Talent: Sood Mela 2013

SoodSabhaShimlaMela2013A fun filled morning was seen at the Ram Mandir Hall, Shimla which was buzzing with kids — tiny tots aged one plus up to almost 15 year old teens taking part in various events — baby show, fancy dress, song and dance competition. Sood Sabha Shimla organizes such events every year for the Sood Community and especially for children who get the opportunity to showcase their talent and win few Running trophies, which have been donated by the senior members of the community in most games and cultural events.
