Auckland House School for BoysAchievements and accolades don’t just lie in a child’s report card or the year end annual performance review, but the highlight of any child’s growth is his participation in functions like annual concerts and sports day. These images are captured for life and revered for years to come. The junior wing of Auckland House School for Boys celebrated their Annual Day with great fervour and enthusiasm as Satyapriya Singh (IPS) Deputy Director, Intelligence Bureau, Govt of India graced the occasion as the chief guest. She was warmly greeted by the Principal Micheal A John, Director-Principal Auckland School Sunita John, Primary Wing Coordinator Parul Sood and staff.

Auckland House School for BoysInvoking God’s blessings, the students of Form I and II sung a beautiful hymn, which was then followed by an English play titled “The Enchanted Storks”. The other performances that enticed the parents were action songs and foot tapping dance numbers — such as the ‘fisherman dance’, ‘butterfly song’, ‘ichhak dana’, ‘cotton eyed joe’ to name a few. Solo keyboard performances by Samarth Gupta and Reyaansh Sharma of UKG were just brilliant. Hindi play titled “Birbal Ki Khichdi” was again mesmerizing, as both plays shared a message with the audience. No annual function can be complete with the ever so famous Himachali Naati and vibrant Punjabi Bhangra. The melodious tunes soon caught up with the parents too, who were then seen clapping loudly and cheering their wards. (SEE VIDEOS)
