To mark the celebration of Annual Prize Distribution, St. Thomas’ School, Shimla organized a cultural program as Mandeep Rana, Principal Saraswati Paradise School presided as the Chief Guest. School Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarti welcomed all the guests  and presented a brief report on various activates of the school and other cultural exchange programs that had been held during the academic year.

The day began with welcoming of Chief Guest and presenting them with flowers. As the guests seated themselves comfortably, the cultural program began with Lighting of the Lamp which was supported with a background song “Deep Jale” sung by the choir.

Students then presented an invocation dance that entertained all. An Inter House Drama competition was also organized on the occasion where Toshqui House staged “Aaina”; Shipkila staged “Father Figure”; Chinar presented “Kissa Rajniti Ka” and Kasturi performed “Latest Social Evils”.

Each play came with a powerful performance and a strong message ranging right from ill effects of social media, life of a father who struggles day and night for his children to contemplating on oneself before becoming judges of other and a political satire.

Students also presented a powerful fusion dance performance that filled all with a new energy.  

Rahul was awarded with best actor award and over all Kasturi house bagged the best play award.  

Meenu Sood, Namita Sood and Raman Nagpal were also present on the occasion as the judges of the competition.
