An Inter House Band & Choir Competition was held in Auckland House School for Boys, as students from the four Houses – Durrant, French, Lefroy, Matthew – gave scintillating performances with great zeal and fervour to lift the shield. The judges for the event were Reuben John, professional voice trainer and an accomplished musician, Asshur Wilson, pianist and history teacher from Bishop Cottons School and Neil Baldry, music teacher from BCS, who were warmly greeted by School Principal Micheal A John.
The judges were all impressed by the amazing performance by the boys and appreciated them for their skills and ear for music. The Overall Best Singer was Ayaan Mahajan of Durran House. The Band Competition was won by French House followed by Durrant House, with a tie for third position between Mathew and Lefroy. In the Choir Competition the first position was bagged by Durrant House, followed by Matthew House and third was French House.
The day ended with a vote of thanks by the principal and the singing of the National Anthem.
