After postponing two board exams consecutively, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) asked the principals to send details of affected students of class 10th and 12th to the concerned regional offices of the Board. In a circular issued by CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi, the Board stated that in order to avoid inconvenience to students, staffs and parents, Board examinations of classes 10th and 12th were postponed in the wake of violence in North East parts of the capital.

“The Board has maintained regular contact with the principals of all schools, especially in the affected areas,” the circular said. It further added that to reduce the stress on students, the board will conduct fresh exams for these students and the new dates will be notified shortly.
